The New York Palace expresses its deepest concern and condolences for victims of Hurricane Sandy, which continues to impact the northeast after making landfall in New Jersey last week.
As our city and region comes together to recover from the effects of this tragic storm in the days, weeks and months to come, we encourage donations to aid and relief groups. Though The Palace was not directly affected by the storm surge or a lack of electricity, many in our area remain in need of food, clean water, warm clothing and permanent shelter.
How to Help:
There are several ways you can help New York City and the northeast recover from the storm – even from afar.
The American Red Cross and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City are accepting contributions to assist with Hurricane Relief. Donating to these causes helps supply immediate aid needs such as water, food and hygiene supplies, in addition to long-term relief and restoration efforts.
