Stay Just Steps From the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade

On Saturday, March 17, more than 150,000 marchers will stream up Fifth Avenue – past the 19th-century steeples of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and famed bronze figures of Central Park’s Grand Army Plaza – as part of the 2012 NYC Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. This day-long celebration of New York City’s rich Irish culture is the largest Saint Patrick’s Day parade in the world, bringing approximately 2 million viewers to see the spectacle.

The New York Palace serves as the ideal hub for a fun-filled Saint Patrick’s Day weekend in NYC. Located within earshot of the event’s famed Irish bagpipes, The Palace sits on Madison Avenue, just a block east of the parade route. Our Midtown luxury hotel is close enough to the action that you can easily walk over to claim your spot on the sidewalk and far enough away to be able to retire to the peace and quiet of your room or suite after the parade.
