We’re excited to share photos of our gorgeous, reopened main lobby in the Villard Mansion! Located at the Madison Avenue entrance of The New York Palace, the lobby has been closed since June, but is back with a new modern design and feel.
Although renovated, the lobby still exists within the original framework of the Villard Mansion. Prior to renovations, the space consisted of brown and tan colored hues. Our design teams took notice and made sure the new lobby provides guests with a clean and crisp atmosphere.
One feature that we have been anxiously awaiting has been the mural. First introduced in our post, Our Lobby Mural, we have taken readers through the mural’s journey from creation at the EverGreene Studio to the installation on the second floor of the lobby. In addition to the mural, our lobby now includes the stunning chandelier featured in our Shining Bright post.
In addition to the mural and chandelier, we’ve uncovered our distinct fireplace. This marble piece was a part of the décor in our original lobby, and now adds another historic aspect to the new renovation.
Although, we still have a few more upgrades to complete in our lobby, we welcome our readers to come and enjoy the renovated space with us! Check back for more updates about the new additions at The Palace.
