The Palace Knows Best: Summer in the City

Summer in New York City, although hot, offers many options for great fun. Our Chef Concierge Carolyn Innocenzi at The New York Palace knows all of the best spots and recommends some great activities for our guests and their families.

Consider one of the various tours that The Palace recommends, like the Circle Line Boat Tours, where boats run daily and guests can take a splash on the Hudson River for a casual and relaxing time. Innocenzi also recommends the Bateaux New York for an elegant dining experience on the scenic Hudson River, where our Concierge team can help you hire and staff your own private yacht.

If the arts are your passion, Innocenzi recommends museum tours with artist Mark Venaglia and Art Smart with Judith Walsh. Also, private tours that capture the history of New York City are both educational and fun with Signature Tours. Guests may want to consider a television tour with On Location Tours.

If you are interested in the latest and most delectable desserts this summer, consider the Fischbach Food Tour. “I will always remember those muffin-sized cookies at Levain Bakery on the Upper West Side,” says Innocenzi. “They were beyond delicious!”

What makes the food tour a great experience is that the Fischbach family can create one to accommodate your culinary preferences. To top it off, guests will be driven around in a luxury air conditioned vehicle.

For those who wish for an aerial view of New York City, check out New York Helicopter. A helicopter tour is perfect for passengers who would enjoy the short but thrilling 15 minute ride.
