Bastille Day in New York City C’est Magnifique!

Each summer New York City comes alive with festivities to rejoice in the French Revolution and indulge in fantastic French fare during Bastille Day. Think you’re too late to celebrate? Think again.

French Restaurant Week, a collection of some of the city’s most exceptional French restaurants offering incredible deals, is still in full swing today. Make a reservation and enjoy a taste of France.

Marie Antoinette said, “Let them eat cake” and we intend to do just that. The New York Palace is home to Pomme Palais, a premier New York City bakery serving all of your French favorites. Eclairs, macarons, and napoleons, oh my! This patisserie is sure to make your palate believe that you’re in Paris.

After a sweet treat, head to Tavern on 51 to make a toast to Bastille Day and independence with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot or Krug champagne. Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité!
