The New York Palace & David Kracov Are Bringing Color To Life

While you’re staying in the heart of New York City enjoying the many attractions that Manhattan has to offer including dining, shopping and nightlife, don’t miss this summer’s art exhibit located just outside your luxurious accommodations at The New York Palace. Starting on June 24th at 6:30 pm, you can immerse yourself into a colorful sculpture exhibition by Eden Fine Art displaying the work of David Kracov in The Palace’s Courtyard.

As a child, Kracov was one of the youngest artists in the world to have his paintings displayed in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Later he studied at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where he received his degrees in animation, special effects and illustration. After moving to Los Angeles he began his career in animation, eventually working with Disney and several other studios on big name projects. While working on animation for many feature films including The Lion King, Kracov discovered that he had a passion for sculpting. Shortly after, he was commissioned to create a limited edition chess set for the Warner Bros. Studio Stores titled “Looney Trails.”

He was also commissioned by the National Holocaust Museum to create a sculpture to pay tribute to the children who lost their lives in the Holocaust. It is during this project that he discovered his signature trademark, a single butterfly, which is now added to almost every edition he creates. Today, Kracov is the exclusive licensed sculpture of Warner Bros, Looney Tunes and many others. He also creates one-of-a-kind and limited edition sculptures for Disney Studios. His sculptures have been included in the collections of Hollywood entertainment names and organizations including Donald Trump, Whoopi Goldberg and more.

Guests and visitors alike have an opportunity to view Kracov’s beautiful, colorful and whimsical metal sculptures and witty shadowboxes at The New York Palace this summer. As just one of many art exhibits and desirable events in New York City, you won’t want to miss this showcase. Admire pieces from the “Gift of Life” collection which include Kracov’s “Book of Love,” “Little Love in Your Heart,” “Gift of Life,” “Book of Life,” “Stroke of Genius,” and “Notebook.” Experience beautiful, colorful and artistic displays just steps from your luxurious accommodations.
