The Easter Bunny visited The New York Palace early this year, bringing a basket of seasonal goodies for our guests. Our incredible Madison Avenue location is perfectly positioned for Easter activities in New York City, making it simple for guests to stand on the route of the famous Easter Parade or enjoy mass at our illustrious neighbor St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Your Easter experience begins at check-in when an esteemed Palace employee crowns your prince or princess in celebration of spring. Then on Easter weekend the mini-monarchs will mark the occasion with a spirited NYC Easter egg hunt in the ornate New York Palace lobby. Afterward, we recommend attending the NYC Easter Parade, an annual tradition for families to enjoy. Stand in your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it as the parade marches down Fifth Avenue, just one block from our hotel. Of course, the kids may want to see the Easter Bunny in action. What better place is there to visit the Bunny than The Rink at Rockefeller Center? The Easter Bunny himself will be hopping around the ice, waiting for families to join the fun.
Then again, what is Easter without eggs? Guests with a sweet tooth may be interested in decorating a delectable chocolate egg at The Peninsula New York, or taking a trip to the Ukrainian Museum to marvel at the bold geometric patterns that adorn the museum’s traditional Pysanky, incredibly detailed hand-painted eggs. However you choose to spend it, allow The Palace to add a touch of Easter magic on a most memorable holiday weekend.
